Designed to withstand harsh outdoor conditions including moisture, thermal shock, lightning, wind abrasion, and ice loading. It features 6 cores with OS2 single-mode fibre, ensuring excellent performance over long distances. The cable is pre-terminated with LC/UPC connectors at both ends for simplified installation. Includes a ruggedised external PE jacket, ideal for the Australian environment, and 2.0mm oversleeving for added protection. Delivered on a drum and includes pulling socks to assist with installation. Fibre networking cables like this carry data, telephone conversations and emails at high speed with less interference than copper, requiring less amplification for long-distance travel. These OS1/OS2 single-mode fibre optic patch leads provide connections from 10Mbit/s to 10Gbit/s Gigabit Ethernet, offering a cost-effective replacement for copper. The fibre optic cable is immune to EMI/RFI frequency and is used on patch panels for connections between outlets and terminal equipment.
