The SBC-06D2X-U External Slim Blu-ray Combo from Asus is a sleek, external DVD/CD writer and Blu-ray reader for use with your computer. It's capable of reading Blu-ray discs at speeds up to 6x. It's capable of write speeds of up to 8x for DVD-R, DVD+R and DVD+RW discs. It's also capable of write speeds of up to 24x for CD-R and CD-RW discs. The SBW-06D2X-U features a USB 2.0 interface for connection to your computer.

Other features include Disc Encryption II password-controls and hidden-file function, 5.1 Dolby Digital EX and DTS-HD audio, Blu-ray photo and video support and a simplified Drag-and-Burn interface that reduces burning to 3 short steps. The SBW-06D2X-U will also upscale DVD video to 1080p and convert your 2D discs to 3D. The award-winning design allows you use it in vertical or horizontal orientation.
